1970 Lincoln Continental TownCar 7.5 V8

Your price: $0.01

1970 Continental TownCar is a historically significant car for the Ford Motor Company. It was the first year of major restyling to replace the Elwood Engel-penned Continental 1960s. So this is the valuable first year of this amazing "personal luxury car" as Lincoln named these vehicles, presenting luxury, style and performance that paradoxically cannot be provided by today's modern vehicles. Engine displacement  7536 cm3, power 272 kW / 365 hp, 0-60 mph 7.8, max speed: 208 km / h (129 mph) This data speaks for itself and there is no need to comment. Back in 70s...

This 1970 vintage also has a robust 10.5: 1 compression ratio and 365 hp at 4,600 rpm and an enormous torque of 678 Nm. Since 1972, all manufacturers have been forced to strangle vehicles at the expense of performance in order to reduce emissions. For Continental and its 7.5 V8, this meant a compression ratio of 8.5: 1 and a drop in power to 167 kW / 224 hp and a torque of 485 Nm.

Mechanically, this Lincoln is in very good condition, starts to strum and is fully operational. The exterior and interior is original and has a patina and cosmetic flaws over the years. Lincoln comes from the state of Nevada, where he has been all his life. It is absolutely rust-free and clean.
